Verifying COVID-19 status

In line with latest government guidance and the Association of Event Organisers, Packaging Innovations will verify attendee COVID-19 status on arrival at the event.

All attendees will need to demonstrate proof of COVID-19 status for entry to the event. This will need to be one of the following:

  • Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination 2 weeks prior to arrival, whether that requires 2 doses or one dose. Proof is shown via the NHS app, NHS.UK, your vaccination record card or a letter from the NHS (or overseas equivalent).
  • Proof of a negative lateral flow or PCR test result taken within 48hrs of arrival at the venue. A lateral flow test must be reported to the NHS website or app and the result shown via the NHS App, SMS text, or email. Lateral flow tests are available for free from the NHS website or your local pharmacy.
  • Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

Getting there by car

From M4/A4/M1/A1/M11/A10 take the A406 westbound to A4. Continue on A4 over Hammersmith Flyover, turn left onto the B317 (North End Road) and follow signs.

From A3/M3 follow signs for central London, take Wandsworth or Putney bridges. From Wandsworth Bridge, turn left onto New Kings Road, turn right onto Fulham High Street, which becomes Fulham Palace Road. At Hammersmith roundabout turn right onto Hammersmith Road and follow signs. From Putney Bridge, turn left onto Fulham Palace Road and follow directions as above.

From M2/M20/A2 follow signs to central London, take Blackfriars, London, Waterloo, Vauxhall, Southwark, Chelsea or Battersea bridges, turn left along Embankment and follow signs.

From A12/A13 follow signs for central London towards Tower or London Bridge. Don’t cross the bridge, and instead continue along Embankment and follow signs.

If you need a space for your car, we require you to pre-book online to secure a space. There is an option to pay for parking on the day, however spaces are limited. Pre-booked car park visitors should enter the car park from Blythe Road or Sinclair Road. Olympia Way is currently accessible for visitors.

Getting there by train

Olympia London is the only venue in London with a dedicated rail station – Kensington (Olympia). It’s served by the London Overground and National Rail networks. The best way to reach Kensington (Olympia) Station from the London Underground would be to change at West Brompton to the London Overground line, just a one stop away. Alternatively, a further five Underground lines are connected only a short walk away. When you arrive at the station, follow signage to the entrance on Blythe Road.

Getting there by plane

Gatwick – Simply jump on the 30 minute train from Gatwick to Clapham Junction. Then change onto the Overground, direct to Kensington (Olympia).

Heathrow – The Piccadilly line goes straight to Hammersmith. Olympia is only a 5 minute bus ride, or 12 minute walk away.

Stansted – The Stansted Express goes to Liverpool Street. Then change onto the Central line for Shepherd’s Bush, and take the Overground one stop to Kensington (Olympia).

City Airport – Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Bank. Change onto the Central line for Shepherd’s Bush and take the Overground one stop to Kensington (Olympia).

Luton Airport – Take a train from Luton Airport to St Pancras. Change onto the Victoria line for Oxford Circus. Then change onto the Central line for Shepherd’s Bush, and take the Overground one stop to Kensington (Olympia).
