Knoll Printing & Packaging has today been announced as a Global Compact LEAD participant for its ongoing commitment to the United Nations Global Compact and its Ten Principles for responsible business.
Knoll Printing & Packaging was identified as being among the most highly-engaged participants of the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
Sanda Ojiambo, CEO and Executive Director of the UN Global Compact, said, “LEAD companies represent the highest level of engagement with the UN Global Compact. More than ever before, the world needs businesses of all sizes — like the ones announced as LEAD today — that continuously work to improve their sustainability performance and take action to build a better world.”
Jeremy Cohen, CEO and President of Knoll Packaging, said, “For the third year in a row, our company has been named Global Compact LEAD, which is truly one of the highest honors to receive. To be included among a small list of 36 global organizations, and the only SME in the packaging industry, is a demonstration to our on-going commitment to the Ten Principles. As the world continues to navigate a Pandemic, the commitment to sustainability is more important than ever. Over the last year, we have seen an extraordinarily number of positive steps taken within our industry, which has us truly optimistic about the future. We are thrilled to take this leadership role to push our partners in the right direction, and we owe so much to the Global Compact for providing us the resources to do so.”
