Shin Soo Beom’s out of this world medicine packaging design for astronauts
We can suffer from various diseases in space. That’s why astronauts are always on medication time. But in spacecraft, the drug-containing package is used exactly as it is used on the ground (earth). So if you accidentally spill the medicine as soon as you open the package, you’ll be in trouble because of zero gravity.
Shin Soo Beom’s creative packaging design has identified this problem and tackled it with an efficient foil and plastic-based pill container.
It features a convenient loop to allow astronauts to attach the packet to the water pouches already employed in space. Users can then utilise a creative button to release the medication they require to take into their mouths.
